These Terms and Conditions apply to all training courses and services provided by South Coast Forklift Training, operated by Clinton Mitchell trading as South Coast Forklift Training.

By accepting a quotation, booking training, or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Training Services

South Coast Forklift Training provides workplace forklift and material handling equipment training services delivered at customer premises.

Training is delivered in accordance with current recognised workplace transport guidance and accrediting body standards where applicable.

Bookings and Payment

Payment is required in advance to secure training dates. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.

Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice or quotation.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone bookings where payment has not been received within the agreed timescales.

We accept payment by BACS bank transfer and major debit or credit cards by prior arrangement.

Cancellations and Changes

Cancellations made within 14 days of the training start date are charged at 100% of the course fee.

Requests to change training dates will be considered where reasonably practicable but cannot be guaranteed.

If delegates fail to attend scheduled training without prior agreement, the full course fee may still apply.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing:

• Safe and serviceable equipment
• A suitable training area and working environment
• Suitable loads where required
• Delegates who are medically fit and capable of undertaking training
• Adequate site access and facilities

Training may be delayed, suspended, or cancelled if site conditions, equipment, or operational circumstances are considered unsafe or unsuitable.

Equipment and Site Conditions

Training is normally carried out using the customer’s own equipment to ensure familiarisation with the actual workplace environment.

Where equipment becomes unavailable, unsafe, or unsuitable during training, South Coast Forklift Training reserves the right to suspend or rearrange training as necessary.

Any decision regarding continuation, postponement, or rescheduling of training will be made at our reasonable discretion.

Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances

In cases of severe weather, equipment failure, site closure, illness, or other circumstances outside reasonable control, training may need to be postponed or rearranged.

Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to agree an alternative training date.

Certification

Certificates and associated documentation are issued only to delegates who successfully meet the required training and assessment standards.

Completion of training does not guarantee a pass or certification outcome.

Training records may be retained for legal, operational, insurance, or accrediting body purposes.

Limitation of Liability

South Coast Forklift Training will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, business interruption, loss of profit, or delays arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by law.
